Klitschko wins vs Arreola
WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (38-2, 37 KOs) successfully defended his world via tenth round TKO against previously undefeated contender Cristobal Arreola (27-1, 24 KOs). Klitschko was able to land punches at a distance against the aggressive but shorter Arreola, who made Vitali work very hard throughout the fight. The fight got more one-sided as the rounds progressed when Vitali continously connected with long shots as referee Jon Schorle finally stopped the fight at the end of round ten.

Mayweather - Marquez post fight analysis..
I think that JMM should go back to 135 lbs to fight at least 2 more fight if he still wins and i think that PBF should fight Shane Mosley before the year ends or he can wait for the winner of the Pacquiao-Cotto fight. Marquez was just out classed by Mayweather and I wish both figthers the best.

Mayweather vs Marquez Predictions
I think that in the early round both fighter would study each others moves and we might see the two waiting for each other for the first 3 rounds but as the fight goes on, both fighters will be engaging because they need to put on some rounds to their name after the slow start... So I think it will go the distance but the question is "Who win the most rounds?" I think that mayweather will use his height and reach advantage to fill up the points but marquez may still give him some problems if they engage because even Marquez is a counter puncher he can still brawl with the best brawlers out there, but I think that mayweather is too smart to stay close to Marquez and exchange punch for punch. If Marquez can successfully force a close boxing he might get some rounds but I can see it being a CONTROVERSIAL split decision victory for Mayweather.

Cotto vs Clottey Analysis
Like some boxing fans I would like to see a rematch between the two fighters but I think Bob Arum would like to put Cotto against Pacquaio so everybody might just forget a rematch between Cotto and Clottey. I think that the Pacman who fight Hatton would easily defeat the Cotto today but we’ll never know because Pacman is not Clottey and vise versa.

Cotto vs Clottey Prediction
For the upcoming fight between Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey I would like to state my prediction for this fight. I think both fighters have good defense but I think that Cotto is much faster that Clottey and that Cotto is a good counter puncher and body puncher that might hurt Clottey in the later rounds. In the first few rounds it could be a tight one but as rounds pass by, the body punches of Cotto to Clottey might make the difference and would make clottey go down in the later rounds. So I think that Cotto would finish off Clottey in 8-10 rounds.

Post Fight Analysis
Manny Pacquiao dethrones and destroys Ricky Hatton in 2 merciless and one sided rounds by knocking down the Hitman twice in the first round and finishing him off with one of the most devastating punch in boxing history before the end of the 2nd round.
Before the fight I predicted that Pacquaio will finish Hatton at least six rounds but like most people, we did not expect that Pacquiao will finish it off in only 2 rounds and maybe only Freddie Roach is the only one that is not surprised of the performance of the Pacman, he surely knows what his boxer can do. Roach certainly knows that when the two fighters exchange blows, the first one that would hit the opponent will be Pacquiao because of his superior speed. Like in the first knockdown, both boxers throw a punch with Hatton throwing a left hook (that missed) and Pacquiao throwing a much stronger right hook that first hit Hatton. After that first knockdown Hatton was never been the same. The Hitman did not see the punches of the Pacman because of its speed.
I also thought that Hatton would be the stronger puncher but Manny shows that he still got the power in the 140lbs division. That left hook and even the right were just amazing to see hurting the bigger Hatton. He belittled the power of Manny by charging into him so Hatton pay the price.
Manny Pacquaio being the best boxer in the world today might face the former no. 1 boxer in the name of Floyd Mayweather jr. but let us not discount Marquez who have great boxing skills. I think Manny has a great chance on both fighters. If Floyd wins over Marquez and fight Manny that fight could be the best boxing match of the decade and show who the best of the best is.

Pacquiao-Hatton Fight Factors
I would like to have my predictions on the upcoming and anticipated bout between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton.
First, I would like to state the factors that may contribute to the fight:
1. Speed
- This could be the main factor for Pacquiao. Hatton said that he is a much faster fighter now but there’s no doubt that Pacquiao may still be the much faster because he is the smaller guy and he can throw a bunch of punches in a blink. So I give this advantage for the Pacman.
2. Size
- Hatton being the much taller will certainly be the bigger man in the ring. He might be the heaviest opponent for Pacquiao because DLH only weight about 147 lbs. against Pacquiao and Hatton may weight about 150 lbs. or more during the fight.
Adv. – Hitman
3. Stamina
- This would be a very important factor if the fight goes the distance especially when both fighters throw a lot of punches. I think Pacquiao is the more conditioned fighter between the two and having a better training may have the advantage here.
Adv – Pacman
4. Fight Plan
- I think that the only way Hatton can win this fight is to put pressure to Pacquiao in the whole fight and Team Pacquaio knows that so I think Pacquaio will have the better strategy in this fight. Adv. – Pacman
5. Power
- Pacquiao may be known to be a great puncher but Hatton being the bigger guy may be stronger than Pacquiao. Adv. – Hitman
6. Durability
- With both fighters having heavy hands, durability may be a factor if they chose to slug it out and the last man standing would be the winner. Pacquiao may be stopped
In his early career but he has improved a lot. Adv. – Pacman
7. Defense
- When they throw punches the fighter that can defend their opponent’s punches and counter with their own punch will have a great advantage in this fight. Pacquiao being the more complete fighter of the two may have the better chance in this one.
Adv. – Pacman
I think that the Pacman has a better chance of winning this fight but if Hatton can use his size advantage and neutralize the speed of Pacquiao he may have a chance of hitting Pacquiao and slowing it down. But as Floyd sr. said that in boxing the strategy is to “punch and not to be punched” and I think Pacquiao has a better chance of doing that. So I see the Pacman would win it between the 6th and 9th round.
